Indica strains are better for bedtime

There are two main types of marijuana strains.

Sativa marijuana strains are helpful for daytime use because they have an energizing and uplifting feeling.

Sativa strains are great for anxiety and depression. Indica strains are great for nighttime use, because they have a more sedative feeling. A couple of years ago, I experienced a horrific car accident. I still have PTSD from the car accident and I also experience flashbacks. I couldn’t sleep at night for more than an hour or two. I woke up sweating and breathing heavily and sometimes I didn’t know why. I talked to a doctor about the insomnia. We tried over the counter remedies to help me sleep, but nothing worked well. Melatonin helped me stay calm and fall asleep, but I still woke up a couple hours later almost every single night. The insomnia was affecting my work and social life. Finally, the doctor gave me a recommendation for medical marijuana. I went to a medical marijuana treatment facility and I talked to a specialist about my condition. A specialist prescribed medical marijuana for bedtime use. I went to a cannabis dispensary for the first time and I talked to a licensed budtender about my insomnia and PTSD. The woman recommended a couple of different indica strains. The first time I tried using medical marijuana, I felt giggly and high for almost 2 hours. I ate a whole gallon of chocolate eruption ice cream and a half bag of tortilla chips. After that, I passed out and slept for eight hours! It was the first full night of sleep I had in eight years.
