My spouse doesn’t think cannabis is a legitimate medical treatment

My spouse’s brother died of an overdose when he was 21 years old.

He actually had been living on the streets for close to 2 years.

He had a drastic concern with methamphetamines & some other frightening drugs. When Don died, my spouse went deranged with grief. It took years & years of counseling for her to recover to a certain degree. She was especially close with her brother! Ever since the overdose, my spouse has been a huge supporter of anti-drug legislation. My spouse does not guess that drugs like pot should be legalized at all. In fact, my spouse does not guess that marijuana offers any true medical benefits. This has been a subject of discussion in our residence for the past six months. Back in December, my healthcare worker advocated using medical marijuana to help deal with major anxiety & depression. I have fought with anxiety & depression throughout the course of my life. As I get older, the symptoms are getting more challenging to deal with. When the healthcare worker advocated using medical marijuana, my spouse totally lost her mind. She thought the healthcare worker was a quack & she told me to get another opinion. I studied a lot about medical marijuana & its effectiveness as a treatment for critical anxiety & depression. All of the studying materials suggest that it can be extremely effective. I particularly want to try using marijuana, but my spouse thinks it is a straight ticket to drug rehab or death. I can’t get her to see things the way I do. All she can really think about is the way her brother ended up dying.
