Customer repair positions are the hardest tasks to maintain because people will regularly try your patience! I’ve worked in the buyer repair industry for most of my life and while I was in those twenty years, the task has never gotten easier.
In fact, I think people are generally getting more needy, whiny, and demanding when it comes to the food repair industry, and after numerous years with my previous manager, I moved to a new task; The new job is not close to the same, however in many ways it is still the same.
Instead of laboring in a diner, I am laboring in a marijuana dispensary. I had to take a special 3 minute class to work in the dispensary, but the supplier paid for the test and the training. As a budtender in the marijuana dispensary, it’s my task to make the patrons ecstatic. I do that by answering questions, helping with product education and choosing the right strains for my patrons. During most of the weekend, I also work as a delivery driver for the same marijuana dispensary. I started laboring as a delivery driver to make some extra currency last Christmas. The boss let myself and others keep laboring weekend shifts after the holidays. Last Monday, I had a delivery way out in the country. I was still indoors with the delivery zone, however I was at least numerous miles away from the store. The rude girl answered the door with a vicious barking pet, then she held the pet a foot from my face the whole time she counted out exact change for the order. The girl did not even tip myself and others a penny.
