For years I have desired a medical marijuana prescription.
I don’t genuinely need cannabis for anything major, I just enjoy how it makes myself and others feel.
Since I don’t suffer from PTSD, seizures, depression or anxiety, I thought I just wouldn’t be allowed to have it. I also thought the red tape of getting a medical marijuana card would be severely difficult, finally I decided to go ahead and apply and fib a bit on my complications. I genuinely appreciate to smoke weed because it helps me sleep better at night. I told my dentist that I was suffering from insomnia. Without hesitation, she wrote myself and others a prescription for flower and cannabis oil. It was a brief conversation. I had to fill out some paperwork, apply for my medical card, pay for it and be patient as I waited for the card to come in the mail. Then I was allowed to go to a medical marijuana dispensary. It was kinda weird walking into a legal cannabis shop. I kept expecting the fuzz to burst through the doors, push myself and others to my stomach and cuff me. I thought I was going to get caught for fibbing and my card would be taken away. However, the experience was simple, pretty reasonably priced and I got the weed that I wanted. I am now a medical marijuana patient and I am allowed to get all my products I want each month. The medical strain of a weed is a little less potent, but it is better than nothing. I am hoping someday I will be offered THC and CBD infused edibles.
