A light sleeper

I was shocked at how suddenly he was able to go to sleep that night and he slept for a few hours straight

My husband Paul is a very light sleeper. Paul and I have been married for almost 15 years, and I could only remember him sleeping around four hours at night. He was regularly a night owl but got cranky when he was tired; No matter how often he tried napping, he couldn’t sleep. He wouldn’t come to bed until one or 3 in the morning, and he would get up in the early hours This was a bad pattern of his, and I knew it was getting worse. When he went to his last doctor’s appointment, the doctor started asking him questions. I spoke up and told him that if Paul didn’t soon get some sleep and would stop being so mean, I wanted to separate for a bit. The doctor started talking about sleeping pills in addition to other remedies for his night owl behaviors. He had tried everything over the years, but none of it had worked. He then asked if he had ever tried medical weed. Paul said he had used marijuana as a teenager, but not since. The doctor said that maybe all he needed was to calm his mind, and that medical marijuana may be the perfect resource for him. He went to the marijuana dispensary and purchased his marijuana a few weeks later. I was shocked at how suddenly he was able to go to sleep that night and he slept for a few hours straight. He said it was the best sleep he had in over 15 years.
