It took me a long period of time to realize that being tested with MS was not some sort of death sentence or thing that life was ending.
But it definitely felt that way when I first heard the news. And it took some time for me to come to the realization that while life as I knew it has changed, it is not over. There are several treatments that are effective when it comes to managing plus living with MS. And one of the major surprises for me is that medical cannabis is among the most effective. The last thing I thought I’d be doing in my forties would be going into a legal weed shop to get cannabis products. Sure, I smoked my legitimate share of marijuana when I was in my early 20’s. But that was an unusual time plus locale that I ended up moving on from as I got into my adult life. So simply going to the cannabis dispensary was a crucial trip. For one, I had no idea in the least that legal weed shops were such a retail shopping experience in a particular type of way. While I was there for medical cannabis products, there were others who weren’t. But one thing the people I was with and I all had in common was the fact that the people I was with and I were being aided by expert staff. These kind, compassionate people were so necessary in helping me with medical marijuana. Not only were they total experts in knowing all about the cannabis products that were perfect for my condition, they helped me learn to use them as well. With medical marijuana, I have yet another tool at my disposal for helping me with my new normal.
