My son told me he was interested in getting a job at the local medical cannabis dispensary.
- He told me he was going to take some tests, and they also had to learn the laws and regulations that pertain not just to our state but all the states surrounding us.
Two weeks later, he came home and told me that he was having a difficult time with the job. The medical marijuana dispensary did not think that he was learning quickly enough. He said he was studying every night, and he thought he had a good grasp of what he should be doing. Unfortunately, when it came to him taking the written test, he did lousy. I told him that he should have a discussion with the pharmacist at the medical marijuana dispensary. It may help them to know that he had a problem with taking tests. His anxiety would build and he would forget everything that he had learned. I had been working with him for several years trying to get him to relax when it came time for a test, but nothing ever helped. When he came home from the medical marijuana dispensary, he told me the pharmacist recommended that he get a medical marijuana card. Once he had the medical marijuana card, he would be able to get a 10% discount on everything that he purchased. It seemed a little odd to me that my son was going to need to have a medical marijuana card if he wanted to work in the medical marijuana dispensary. He was thrilled to know that he may be able to have some help for his anxieties on taking tests, along with knowing that he actually had a job to go to every day.
